Convenience for Care Providers

Clarity's Patient Result Hotline is a fast and efficient method of providing test result messages to patients; eliminating time consuming “phone-tag”problems. Through any touch-tone phone, doctors and nurses dial a secure Clarity telephone number and are able to record a voice message for a specific patient's test result. Multiple messages can be left in rapid succession during a single phone call.

 

Convenience for Patients

Typically the Patient is provided a “convenience card” listing the same secure Clarity phone number used by the Care Provider and an account number (PIN) that uniquely identifies each Patient. The Patient simply dials the telephone number on the card, when the number is answered, the Patient is greeted with a customized announcement that will instruct him/her to enter their account number (PIN). The Patient will then hear a menu telling them how to listen to their test-result messages that were recorded by the Care Provider. It's that simple!

 

Confidential

Clarity's Patient Result Hotline eliminates sending results via mail, or leaving results of a sensitive nature on an answering machine or unsecured voicemail system where privacy issues are greatly compromised. Patients are able to access their test-results in a convenient and timely fashion at their leisure; from any location, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

 

Secure

Clarity has taken great care to ensure the security and confidentiality of all Patient information. Care Providers are required to enter a central security code in order to access Clarity's Patient Results Hotline. Patients must also enter their specific account number in order to access their messages. All transactions are stored and tracked according to the prevailing HIPPA requirements.

 

Real-time Reporting

From any web connection, Care Providers can access reports listing all test-result messages that have or have not been retrieved. Real-time reports listing the date, time and telephone number of the caller leaving the test result, as well as the date, time and telephone number the caller retrieving the result are clearly displayed. A report listing all patients ID numbers that have been entered into the system with space to enter patients name from the web or playback the recorded name, is also available. Access to the online reporting is secured by qualified https certification and the Care Providers password.
